Bassey Ikpi

Bassey Ikpi is a Nigerian-born, American-raised writer, ex-poet, unwavering mental health and wellness advocate, self-proclaimed underachieving overachiever, and semi-professional procrastinator. Her book, “I’m Telling The Truth, But I’m Lying,” skyrocketed to become an instant New York Times Bestseller, offering a candid look at her life with bipolar II disorder and anxiety.

She’s currently soft at work on her next book, a full-length reimagining of her Audible Original, “Home Rarely Feels Like This,” alongside a slew of other creative projects.
